No Winner

Nobody was able to identify the card man, so there was no winner. Everyone was curious as to the identity of the guy. A clip of his professionally made DVD was posted here on July 10th. Here’s the link to that clip.

Maybe we need an easier contest next time. We’ll work on it.

Thanks for looking.

Lecture in Dayton

From an email Mike received from the FCM in Dayton…

“We will have a Special guest lecture for our next meeting Sept. 4. Steve Kelgore from Nashville will be with us. Steve did a lecture in Nashville last Nov. It was GREAT.

Steve will lecture on building your own magic props. He has built some awesome looking props from items you can find around your house or at places like Wal-mart. At the end of his lecture in Nashville everyone went up to his tables to examine his props. They are that good and his lecture is that good also. He won’t have anything to sell, but the ideas you will go back with will make the trip and time spent well worth it.

There will be a $10.00 per personĀ charge at the door for the lecture. A Great Value!!!!!

The lecture will be at Garrison BaptistĀ  Church 270 Garrison Rd. Dayton,Tn. Thursday night 7PM Sept. 4th. If you want to learn how to make good looking and different props than what you see in a magic shop then this is the lecture for you.”

Who's the card man?

The man’s name in the following video clip may be familiar to you. If you know who he is, write his name on a piece of paper and give it to Tommy tomorrow night at the club meeting. The first person to correctly identify the person will have a choice of one of two Ed Marlo manuscripts donated by Tommy. They are Card Switches (also found in Revolutionary Card Technique) and Marlo in Spades (found in the newly released Cardially Yours).

This offer is exclusive through Tommy and does not represent the club.

Here’s a hint:

This person does have a video/DVD available and what you see in the clip below is also featured in a demo video posted on the blog a short time ago. Have you been watching closely?

Good luck.
